I am seriously excited that we have a such a gorgeous new farm wedding venue in the mountains of the High Country. 2013 Brides who want a laid back, country mountain wedding should take a look at White Fence Farm . Owners Denise and Fulton Lovin were kind enough to show me around and write a little bit about White Fence Farm for the blog.
“It seems like a lot of couples want to get back to nature and celebrate their marriage with simple rustic charm. We knew our property, over 100 acres, complete with barn and a 1940’s farmhouse was the perfect venue for a farm wedding, and this year we decided to open it to the public.
White Fence Farm is located only 15 minutes from Boone, a straight shot on 421. The location is very private, surrounded by rolling hills, bubbling creeks, wild flowers, and open spaces. It is truly a beautiful setting and so close to everything.
For those looking for a farm to be the backdrop for their wedding, we have it all – barn complete with bar and stage/dance floor, horseshoe pit, bonfire, pond stocked with fish, hiking trails.The neat old farm equipment in and around the property provides lots of great photo opportunities as well.
The experience is complete with our cozy farmhouse. Guests will love the antiques, vintage claw foot bathtub, porch swing, and the wood stove. There is even an RV hookup and plenty of outdoor space for tents for those wanting more guests to spend the night.
For those looking for more sport, we have darts, hiking trails, horse shoes, fishing and have even developed our own golf game called Bulls eye Golf.
Each couple has their own vision of what they want a farm wedding to be, we provide the perfect setting and allow you to create the rest with your own caterers, vendors, etc. You have to see it to believe it and of course, we can’t wait to show you!!!”
