Cover Shoot for the High Country Wedding Guide

So honored to have been among the ones chosen to participate in the cover shoot for the High Country Wedding Guide. This years featured the lovely Westglow Resort and Spa outside of Blowing Rock, NC and of course, as with almost any styled shoot I’m involved in, it was a rainy, foggy mess.

We absolutely made the most of it, and honestly, I don’t know that it would have been better on a perfect sunshiney day. The shoot had a dreamy etherial vibe that only fog and rain can bring. We also focused more on the beautiful indoor elements that Westglow Resort and Spa has to offer.

Most importantly, the unfortunate weather also gave me an opportunity to follow the advice that I so often give to my clients. There’s something about things not going as planned that makes the day all that much more special and memorable.
